ABSTRACT
Upper gastrointestinal bleeding (UGIB) is frequently treated emergency by gastroenterologists1. The role of radiological
intervention is increasing in patients with severe and recurrent bleeding who do not respond to endoscopic
treatment. Mortality from UGIB have is considerable (mortality around 10%)2; despite all advances. Varicial bleeding
is a common cause of upper GI Bleeding, of which Gastric varicial bleeding is more serious condition.
