Background: The “BCR-ABL Negative Classic Myeloproliferative Neoplasms” include Polycythaemia Vera (PV),
Essential Thrombocythaemia (ET) and Primary Myelofibrosis (PMF). These three disorders share several clinical and
laboratory features including JAK2 V617F mutations.
