Abstract

ABSTRACT
Background: Chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) is defined as ear discharge persisting for more than 12 weeks
through a perforated tympanic membrane. The cycle of infection, inflammation, granulation tissues, polyp and cholesteatoma
formation continues, destroying adjacent bony margins and ultimately leading to the various complications.
Meningitis is one of the intracranial complications of CSOM
