Editorials include perspective pieces, opinion articles or commentaries with the main manuscript limited to 500 words organized into paragraphs without headings or abstract. It should be supported by not more than 5 references. A declaration section (with sub-headings of conflict of interest and Acknowledgements) shall be included after the main manuscript and before references section.

Before submitting an editorial, the author must communicate via email with KJMS Editor-in-Chief to directly convey the rationale and importance of the proposed editorial. Editorials will only be approved if submitted by clinicians or researchers with an established publishing history and is related to an important local/global medical/health care issue.
